<div style="text-align: center;">
Just added a couple more links and things to this xUL list. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This covers a lot of time....the 2nd wind was mid 90s and others on the list are only a few months old.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Love seeing that we are coming back to the same idea of single line kites that are not necessarily fighter kites, but are very maneuverable and fun to fly in lower wind conditions.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
Lets see what comes out next! </div>

Tim and Ruth over at Windfire Designs are offering up their gorgeous hand crafted stainless steel line winders!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have been wanting these for years...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
These are beautiful and easy to use, designed for single line, but you could easily wrap sport kite lines on them as well.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Two versions: </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The E which is good for smaller linesets and can slide into a kite bag easily</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The Otto is a bigger beautiful winder with grand swoops and this one holds a lot of line!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

And another new gliding kite...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Skyburner Kites has brought out a new canard style glider...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The Aerolite</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZddt7VUNEkq_WlJpWuV1-xmTr8fVxmqKt2q2Rq0kF4K5gcPfnYVMtrpotwjrNPQR5OwDknC9XPZ996zQsXU4UmmKZ4hj7nt753EptR2bcgvM-KJ_r0P5wD73W-YfKM81-lPi2Cas6AUs/s1600/IMG_20141017_102425.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZddt7VUNEkq_WlJpWuV1-xmTr8fVxmqKt2q2Rq0kF4K5gcPfnYVMtrpotwjrNPQR5OwDknC9XPZ996zQsXU4UmmKZ4hj7nt753EptR2bcgvM-KJ_r0P5wD73W-YfKM81-lPi2Cas6AUs/s1600/IMG_20141017_102425.jpg" height="320" width="180" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is like the<a href="http://www.windsweptkites.com/CEEWAN.html" target="_blank"> Plutz glider family from ceewan</a> (including the Zero G from Prism), with some new tweaks on it. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The front wing is not just a basic triangular shapes, it is more of two polygons stuck to one another, this should provide a bit more front support for gliding.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRIKz8gMCexaaPBbbIXn4TyPh1EE2mLruRAkJ2Ex0wbRu2dA-qVZmuugR7-D2ugqAIQX1SohX4FQJ3gfcUjDAfzzh97D5CgkrFkeEShaU8lFXDOzn62LRfEwvZqz3hyphenhyphenWgFP-0M307tC5I/s1600/IMG_20141017_102554.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRIKz8gMCexaaPBbbIXn4TyPh1EE2mLruRAkJ2Ex0wbRu2dA-qVZmuugR7-D2ugqAIQX1SohX4FQJ3gfcUjDAfzzh97D5CgkrFkeEShaU8lFXDOzn62LRfEwvZqz3hyphenhyphenWgFP-0M307tC5I/s1600/IMG_20141017_102554.jpg" height="180" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The Aerolite comes with a simple drogue for when you want to fly it as a stable kite (why would you?) or in higher winds but still active.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Simple clean Icarex skin and micro carbon rods with good quality fittings, as expected from Skyburner too.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
There seems to be a good amount of adjustment as well from the bridle and the position of the Center T that I will have to play with too...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<strike>This kite is not on Skyburner's website yet, nor the Kites 'n' Fun Things site either but you can call or email them to get one.</strike></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
Updated 10/22/14: The Aerolite is now on both the Skyburner website as well as the <a href="http://www.kitesandfunthings.com/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=AEROLITESW" target="_blank">Kites and Fun Things website </a>with a price of 145$</div>

<tr><td style="text-align: center;">Lime Green and Black....LOVE the colors....<br /><br /><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjO1zrvu7u9mTVsgo9NMmH4CeBZHp9AHTD_JLYi48AVUEuXgaABdiYbtIzc8TWfwpLM2eMI6LlFg5pZDX3KbY_at2THzeMGD6ZxVnG9xuvkZP51p2O2YXA_3ZdwtRa7TXDEgBn4UUF2q-k/s640/IMG_20141003_135045.jpg" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" /></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Lam Hoac 3D Magic Angel<br /></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
So, a new gliding indoor xUL kite is out there. The 3D Magic Angel from Lam Hoac. I have spoken with Lam about his new kite a bunch, but had not had a chance to get one into my hands until now. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjO1zrvu7u9mTVsgo9NMmH4CeBZHp9AHTD_JLYi48AVUEuXgaABdiYbtIzc8TWfwpLM2eMI6LlFg5pZDX3KbY_at2THzeMGD6ZxVnG9xuvkZP51p2O2YXA_3ZdwtRa7TXDEgBn4UUF2q-k/s1600/IMG_20141003_135045.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"> </a> </div>
<div>
This is the small version, there is also a bigger version available as well. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
First thoughts: looks like a hybrid between a R-Sky Bird'x and an iFlite. The spreader is just like the spreader design on Horvath's kites, the Chiroptera, and the iFlite family; on the front of the kite and flexible. This makes the kite's wings able to bend backwards in large "gusts" of wind/apparent wind.</div>
<div>
The spine is sewn into a tunnel that creates a small keel.</div>
<div>
The tail has a simple bow rod like the Bird'x and can act as a rudder sometimes twisting opposite to the main sail direction making the kite carve through the room.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Things to note:</div>
<div>
Bridling: there are two ways to attach your line. </div>
<div>
<ul>
<li>There is a single line that is attached to the center of the spreader, which is then held to the kite by another piece of line. This configuration is like a iFlite where there is no side supporting legs to the spreader that would be helpful during flat maneuvers.</li>
<li>The second way is a clean 4 leg bridle that has two legs to the spreader (either side of the spine of course) and then a branching line towards the bottom of the spine. This is more like a fighter kite, and can provide better side movements when the kite is parallel to the ground and gliding.</li>
</ul>
</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The leading edge connectors are made of simple tubing and are provided about an inch of adjustment on the leading edges....now this is interesting....this adjustment, made by slipping the tubing up or down, can completely change the angle of the wings. Slide the connectors forward/up and the wings are held at a higher angle backwards; and conversely slide the fittings down/back and the wings are flatter. Take note that moving the fittings really also changes how the spreader crosses the kite, but the spreader is permanently attached directly to the spine by its retaining line. So, in moving the fittings you end up also moving the spreader forward and backwards too - this gets interesting.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Between the fittings adjustment, and the two differing bridle options you have a lot of changeability here. I have yet to find the positions i really like yet, but then i like a more active flyer indoors rather than a glider (if I want to glide i take out my Feathers!). </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The framing is light....super light....all microcarbon rods, and it looks like the bottom of the spine, where the tail is, is an even thinner rod that is slid into the main spine. This thinner spine rod actually make the kite's tail flip upwards when the kite is gliding/dropping backwards and make the kite slow losing altitude.</div>
<div>
Super clean stitching on the icarex skin, i am guessing that Heads Up is sewing this for Lam. There is a funky little plastic fitting on the bottom of the spine, it might be a Flying Wings fitting but I am not sure, it looks like one that is on their Laima.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Flight:</div>
<div>
Well, there are options abound. I have flown this kite a bunch indoors with all sorts of settings and I think that i like the flight of the full bridle and the fittings all the way forward. But when the single attachment point is used, and the wings are flat this kite is a great glider, albeit a fast one. </div>
<div>
<i>*as we are into the fall winds already i have not had a chance to take it outside yet to see how it does with gusts of real wind interspersed with nothing at all...hopefully i will be able to soon.</i></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
If you can get your hands on one, enjoy flying indoors, and like tweaking settings this kite would be a lot of fun for you. If you are looking for a super easy kite to fly indoors right out of the tube/bag then you might not enjoy it as much as it takes a bit to figure out what you like.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>

<br />
Fighter kites....lots of fighter kites also fall into this designation as well.....<br />
There are makers like Jose Sainz, Glenn Davison and Paul Berard who have over the years made some kites that fit this genre that interested flyers have been able to get as well.<br />
<br />
Some of these kites are long gone (2nd Wind) and some are currently available in one version or another, and some are still in the design process<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
These kites are all designed to fly in the no to low wind levels. They are usually made out of lighter than normal fabrics and materials to make them as light as possible; but of course that also leads them to be a bit more fragile than normal wind kites. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i><b>Some</b></i> have carbon rods as thin as a pin, and some have their skins made out of material so thin that you could poke a hole in it with the slip of a finger. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><i>Some</i></b> of the above listed kites are stable flying in 1 mph, while others are active flyers that you need to, and want to interact with to have the kite dancing in the lack of wind. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i style="font-weight: bold;">Some</i> of these kites are big (the Morpho Grande is about 14' wide) and others are small, small enough to fly in a office, or your dining room. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><i>Some</i></b> of these kites excel at a long graceful gliding flight, while others excel at climbing as high and as fast in possible into the air.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><i>Some</i></b> of the above designs are older historical designs (i.e. the Genki and Pan Ying), and some are new fangled designs (Tapertail <i>S</i>) but they all have a spot in your bag.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The active single lines are my favorite to fly....making them swoop, dive and twirl in a wind dance is a lot of fun, and it shows your prowess as the kite dips towards the ground only to turn away at the last second....totally in control even though there is almost no wind felt.....my bags are full of kites like them if not the exact kites listed above.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Please feel free to comment if you can think of more out there, I know that try as I might I have not identified them all.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

Well...on the site there might be a couple of new items that you should check out!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3CWvBCcQVNW4tVDFOTe44RF5SexiQ2BDFO1wlLtEliQAyHVD6KNHD9SK1mcSD_IlmlFp-F-TGl02s68koW0Ec-uhGcU6mXwlx2og4eEVnKaTba3NSU8o8w8DnGSpkWqBYYo3zsPmgqrQ/s320/Patrick_T_family.JPG" width="240" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
and</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-fSrOGtvWffy-wMHWRWcr_o6Xlch8gwBgaVxBlc3DKQCgaLBZ0a6WVZqPzAYA4F6HQzR64rYZcKmGwIY2yKg1LMhVh1ykS1wkVNNQvcpbLajo0UZ-_n18A3Q25xf-G7RcUecRoOt17cM/s1600/Both_sizes.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-fSrOGtvWffy-wMHWRWcr_o6Xlch8gwBgaVxBlc3DKQCgaLBZ0a6WVZqPzAYA4F6HQzR64rYZcKmGwIY2yKg1LMhVh1ykS1wkVNNQvcpbLajo0UZ-_n18A3Q25xf-G7RcUecRoOt17cM/s320/Both_sizes.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.windsweptkites.com/Patrick_tan.html" target="_blank">iFlites</a>, <a href="http://www.windsweptkites.com/Patrick_tan.html#iPrey" target="_blank">iPrey</a> and <a href="http://windsweptkites.com/damonmeheux.html" target="_blank">Feathers</a>......</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
What a selection to choose from to build up your indoor bag!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The Feathers (two sizes Midi & Micro available) are angelic gliders...so light....transparent...and floating on the tiniest breath of wind or lack of wind!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The iFlite family has a new design: the iPrey is a super fun gliding kite that will not last long. Not last long in that there is a seriously small limited amount of them. Over two painstaking hours goes into each iPrey, and they are worth it! These are fantastic, and come in a handful of colors.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Check them, and grab them while you can!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
There was a request awhile back about updating the posts on the xUL kites as there are new designs coming out. Hopefully, this will happen very soon to show the expanded selection that have gone through our hands, and our experiences with them.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cheers!</div>

<br />
Lets see....<a href="http://www.windsweptkites.com/Patrick_Tan.html" target="_blank">iFlites</a>...we still have a rainbow of colors on hand, and there is only one iFlite II left (in green if you are interested)....<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.windsweptkites.com/Images/Colors.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="272" src="http://www.windsweptkites.com/Images/Colors.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I was lucky enough to get my hands on a Cuben Hawk designed and made by Doug Stoat of Falcon Aero Designs. You may remember him as making a handful of sport kite models in the 90s...well Doug is back and is working with Cuben Fibre material in his "sofa kites".... Doug is working on releasing some plans for some of his xUL active flyer kites....The hawk is one of them....smaller than an iFlite but highly engineered and that cuben fibre material just makes it look soooo techy....<br />
<br />
Sale on <a href="http://windsweptkites.com/Longbottomkites.html#Angels" target="_blank">Longbottom Angels!</a> The Large and Medium Angels are marked down. They are beautiful 3d kites that float in the breeze. Also Karl made up some <a href="http://windsweptkites.com/Longbottomkites.html#Tangrams" target="_blank">Tangram flyers</a> for us too.....sort of like the traditional 3 stick Bermuda style kites, these have been tweaked for better performance and appearance.<br />
There are also only a couple of <a href="http://windsweptkites.com/Longbottomkites.html#6-81" target="_blank">6-81</a>s left from Karl as well. If you are looking to expand your xUL active flying kite bag and want something a little different than the 6-81 is for you! <br />
<br />
There is a new kite that will be hitting the pages soon.....the Ginga! Yes, we have had the plans provided from Christophe for some time now, and they were the plans that you could scale to make a couple of different versions of the Ginga. Well, Christophe made up a new size for us! The small Ginga is designed for travel and to be carried around. The same great flight, but in a more portable size! <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjijMNQlUnPXT8D0IJw_iCfnFKSWDIyu4e3vZQPTQcPzOlzXs-573n9BDxk2_kCvoqHvF4NPufuEKR9N-_iwJdivyA1DuPcnve4tZmkUHsVtCeaCMoWcJhgh3jp3kc3Xgs3hXqWH6_mVVk/s1600/P5180128.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjijMNQlUnPXT8D0IJw_iCfnFKSWDIyu4e3vZQPTQcPzOlzXs-573n9BDxk2_kCvoqHvF4NPufuEKR9N-_iwJdivyA1DuPcnve4tZmkUHsVtCeaCMoWcJhgh3jp3kc3Xgs3hXqWH6_mVVk/s320/P5180128.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
There is one caveat with the small Ginga though. If you are lucky enough to get one (there are only 5 available) you will have to film you flying it and upload it to youtube! Share the flight!!!!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Okay....bit of an update here but there will be more to come too...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<b><i>IF</i></b> you are in the New England area we will be at the Newport Kite Festival this weekend...down at the old flying grounds of Brent Point State Park in Newport, RI. Swing on by and say hi!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Good winds to you all!</div>

So....five years ago I started the website up as a way to help out kite builders get their product out to the kite world.....<br />
Now, I have shipped packages to all over the globe and especially all over this continent! I have moved about 45 times since the site started (there has only been one issue of a shipment being sent to an old address - luckily the new address was about a mile down the road and I had the same post man!)<br />
<br />
As some may know I worked at High Flyers in <a href="https://www.google.com/search?q=41.479448%2C-71.314221&rlz=1C1CHMZ_enUS370US371&aq=f&oq=41.479448%2C-71.314221&aqs=chrome.0.57&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8" target="_blank">Newport, Rhode Island,</a> for 9 years....I learned soooo much at that shop..made wonderful life long friends and had a blast! (Newport Saint Patrick's Day parade with Irish coffee streetside is just one example) I learned so much from Sue about this world of wacky kite people!<br />
High Flyers closed at the end of 2005 and I was stuck out there with only my environmental education job to keep me going....I kept in touch with many of the kite people from the shop; during one conversation with Scott Hampton I started thinking that I should generate an outlet for the kite makers and kite public as well. <br />
<br />
I am now working with 16 kite makers (discussions are in place for #17 right now), these people are based in the UK, New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia, US, Canada, Singapore and France. Getting in packages from these makers is great, I love it! I also love then sending out new designs to those interested kite fliers. Experiencing customers finding out that new and different items are out there and not being mass produced is awesome. <br />
<br />
Then shortly after I started the website an old customer from High Flyers called me and asked if I could liquidate his collection for him. Turn of events had him not flying at all and putting all of his free time into other avenues. He drove the van over to my house and unloaded a bunch....that first van load was the beginning of <a href="http://www.windsweptkites.com/Yard_Sale.html" target="_blank">The Yard Sale</a>, a place where used/preloved kites and items are offered up on good deals.<br />
There have been a lot of amazing kites that have passed through The Yard Sale.....many boutique kites....kites from many years ago....pieces that have been sought after....some pieces that i have regretted sending along to someone else too ;)<br />
<br />
I will admit that it is all on a shoe string budget....very little money comes in, just enough to pay for the website...and any extra $ goes right back into getting more products...It is busy for me sometimes, but I still love it, and plan on keeping it around for a long time!!!<br />
<br />
Here's to new kites for everyone!<br />
Good winds<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQO3r17zUpDRe5otMoq_CQrUXrXmd67jCK0rwvOW7pDB1dI_1RFSJTshmTCRpSskSwX862o7y2iriwDzvNbRpJ-H3XSrARxGJxor5P77aebEMq6YvJwUV9mZ0cN_NE1j-0eTSqXbAJXDg/s512/2013-01-08_14-01-45_558.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQO3r17zUpDRe5otMoq_CQrUXrXmd67jCK0rwvOW7pDB1dI_1RFSJTshmTCRpSskSwX862o7y2iriwDzvNbRpJ-H3XSrARxGJxor5P77aebEMq6YvJwUV9mZ0cN_NE1j-0eTSqXbAJXDg/s320/2013-01-08_14-01-45_558.jpg" width="180" /></a></div>
<br />
Over the years I have had different jobs that allowed different liberties.....some of those jobs were restrictive, or demanded a good bit of my time mentally (whether or not I wanted them to). </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So, of course like many others the activity that I loved dropped off.....</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am in a position right now where I can run down to the beach at lunch time and relax my mind by flying!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So.....I am trying to get out flying at least once a week.....I know it is not THAT restrictive of an attempt - but I am being real about it (a skeptic mayhaps?)....</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If I can get myself out of the office or house at least 52 times to fly that is enough for me at this time....maybe next year i will go for two times a week....</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I will be going through my bags to find some of those neat or different kites that end up tucked away in the bottom of the bag and do not come often enough....</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So.....</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Last week I was able to get out a couple of times....I have been working on rehabbing a handful of 25 year old kites and therefor i need to get out to test them....that helps!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Starting this week off strong as it is sunny, windy, and 60 dang degrees here in Gloucester Massachusetts in January!!! Pulled out a Christophe Tournay leaf kite to fly....</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
(a guy walked up to chat with me as he was drawn to it since the kite is a maple leaf and he is Canadian....Love the relationships that form around kites!!!!).</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
You can follow my attempt (photos and all) on <a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23flyakiteaweek&src=hash" target="_blank">Twitter at hashtag #Flayakiteaweek</a>. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Any one dare say i might not make it?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

A R-sky bird'x is mine.....I have always enjoyed the simple clean design.....the durability....the active flight that it gives in 2mph wind.<br>
The bird'x is not a gliding kite in any sense.....just a very efficient skin design that gets it up and flying in low winds.....I have flown it a bit indoors, but prefer to be outside with this one. </p>
<p>It is not necessarily easy to find one......they can still be purchased from a couple of shops out there.</p>
<p>This is one kite that if you are looking into xUL active single line kites then try to bring a bird'x home...you will not be disappointed!<br>
